תרי״ג מצוות「taryág mitsvót」は「613の要求」という意味。トーラ内で言及される「古イ民族に対する神の要求」をピックアップしてまとめたユダヤ人の非常に古い伝統的なリスト。天の父の家訓、僕の３番目の宝物。

この伝統は少なくとも3世紀のラビ・シムライの言及の頃には存在しているが、12世紀のマイモニデスによる編集が有名。ただ、マイモニデス版も完全に信頼できないので最後に自分でリストアップする。- 613 commandments

俗にいう「聖書」は、「ミクラ / TNKP」→「トーラ(T)」→「タルヤグ(613)」まで薄く要約できる。

トーラに詳しい人がイエスを試そうとして尋ねた。「先生。トーラの中で最も重要な指示はどれですか？」イエスは彼にお答えになった「『自分の心、存在、思考を尽くしてあなたの神エホバを丁重に扱いなさい(申命6:5)』これが第１で最も重要な指示です。第２も同様であって、こうです。『周りの人たちを自分自身に対するように丁重に扱いなさい(レビ19:18)』。トーラ全体はこの２つに要約でき、ネヴィイムもまた同じです」- マタ22:36-40

上記のように、西暦1世紀にキリストはさらに２つに要約した。

613の要求

人間の男女が「神の像 / 同族」として造られているがゆえの神からの要求。
と同時に、神ご自身の性格や好み、人が健全に機能するための仕様の説明でもある。
そして神は、自分と似た人間に子としての養子縁組をお許しになる。

基本

1. 神が存在することを知覚する。To know there is a God — Ex. 20:2
